Presents came, still not wrapped, but I did start on my Christmas cards. I don't have many to do, but I'm about halfway done. They're threatening snow today in the afternoon so I'm not even going to bother putting the cards I finished into the mail today. I did do a little crafting yesterday. The cards I bought came with a printed page with tiny little images of the cards in the box. So I put tape on them and cut them out and now I have six tiny little Barbie cards:
They're not perfect, but not too shabby for a paper print out that most people would just toss. They're not super great about staying open. I might stick them in a book to help flatten them, but I just know I'll forget about them!
Onto our door, today's door is a rather large one with the image of the holiday house on front:
We open it to reveal...
A tree! The irony, I just put up the Hot Wheels tree, then we get a Barbie tree. This tree however can be decorated. It has a bunch of holes for decorations to be added into. It has holes on both sides, which I appreciate being able to decorate the front and back but they go all the way through and while we just have one decoration currently, it looks like the tree has been shot. We do finally have a place to put our wreath, but in my opinion it looks a little odd. Are wreaths on trees a common thing? My experience they go together, but not on each other. I guess it's a mini Barbieland thing.
See everyone tomorrow!
