Advent Calendar Day Three!

 Hello Dear Readers,

Day Three of our Calendar. I started working on my Christmas shopping. I'm doing a scaled back Christmas this year, so yesterday I was able to get the presents for my niece and nephew purchased in one fell swoop. Once it arrives I need to get my act together and wrap them, we won't be seeing them on Christmas, so I need to have them ready before Christmas to give it to them. I'm trying to get into the holiday spirit, but this year has been a little tricky.

For today's door it's this tiiiiiny little one:

 Opening it reveals:

A little snow person! They have a little bow on their head so I assume they're supposed to be a girl.

They're very cute. I think it's a reused piece from another set, but I'm glad to get one.

They've already made themselves at home in the holiday house. Holiday Barbie is still missing, but the search has been slow. Ski Barbie is refusing to help, so it's just been the dog looking. Let's keep this between us, but I'm starting to think she didn't fall and was pushed...

  1. It was a great idea of Mattel's to make a mini Barbie Advent calendar. My great-niece is easy to buy for, because she's only two years old. Only difficulty is making sure things are right for her age group.

    1. I'm really enjoying it, it's different from what I normally get, but it's nice seeing a different product from Mattel (even under the Barbie label). It was a lot easier when they were younger, but my niece is at the age where she's changing what she likes more often so it's harder to keep up. The days of Minnie Mouse and Frozen are over!
