December already? Official Day 1 of our Advent Calendar

 Hello Dear Readers,

Christmastime is upon us! So let's not dilly-dally and let's get into our calendar. Our first day is behind this cute little log cabin door image:

Hopefully I'll be able to master opening these doors before long, right now I'm pushing the door in to open it, then have to deal with how to get the door out after that. But with the door open we find....

A pink plastic animal food dish? I won't lie, not expecting that for day one. It's cute, it's got the Barbie silhouette logo on the inside of the dish. Pretty standard food dish. Hopefully we get a pet soon to go along with our doll and our food dish. Was kind of expecting something for a doll, maybe like a skirt?

I mean, they're certainly keeping things interesting?

Here's the door flap after it been added to the slots on the bottom of the calendar. This is a little fiddly to put it, but maybe a child with smaller fingers might have had an easier time. You kind of have to push down on the bottom to get it open wide enough to put the tab in, but it's hard to do one handed while maneuvering the tab on the door.
